Openfire 3.6.3 Client to Server connection problem - Invalid username or password

Hello Everyone,

I have successfully installed Openfire server using MySQL as the database on Ubuntu 8.10. I created the usersname for the clients on the Server Admin webpage.

However client is not able to connect with the server. Getting an error message as “Invalid Username or Password”, even thought the usernames are present in the Openfire Server.

Initially I was using Openfire on the embedded HSQL database and everything was working fine.

Is there anything that I can do to fix this issue?
