Openfire after new update 3.6.0a, still showing as 3.6.0

Hi ALL

Today we downloaded new version ie 3.6.0a and updated from 3.5.1. But in admin console the server version still showing it as 3.6.0!!

Is any one having this kinda problem.?

and also after upgrade from previous version (3.5.1), all my pluginns are neede to deleted and installed once again. other wise we are getting error while starting those plugins.

Can any one respond to this question?

There is no problem. Openfire’s version system is just not able to handle that “a” in version. You can simply ignore that. You can also ignore that update note in admin console.

Yes, there are several API changes.
