Openfire db transfer to different db

As i know that clearspace has a simple page to do that, will Openfire has such a thing someday? To point to other db and transfer all the stuff from embedded-db.

Are you planning to move to an external DB after our weekly chat? j/k

So far I heard very low demand for this feature so it’s not in our immediate roadmap. However, if we see that this becomes a popular request we can add it for sure.

Not really I just thought that could be useful for someone who wants to move to other db. So you wount need to do this manually.

after the weekly chat i’m seriously thinking about migrating over… Since everything here is SQL anyway whats the harm, especially if there is a performance gain.
