Just installed openfire 3.4.1 on CentOS 5. I’m having the following problem:
When I start openfire using the ./openfire.sh in /opt/openfire/bin everything runs normally. When I start it use /etc/init.d/openfire start the service starts but when I access the admin webpage it starts with the initial setup all over again even though I have set it up already and have <setup>true</setup> in openfire.xml. I try to go through the setup again but get an error after answering the question to use standard registration vs. LDAP.
Anyone have any ideas of what’s going on?
