Openfire is no more accepting new connection/login at peak traffic times

Hi

I am having an openfire-3.6.0 sever with 500+ users and server is having 3GB memory,user authentication is done through win2k3 AD. Now the problem is -sometimes openfre is not accepting new connections/logins, its almost like process is hanged. if the service restarted, server is responding normal.java memory is set upto 500MB. and the CPU load and memory consumption are seems to be fine…

Can anyone help me out??
