I am trying to configure OpenFire to authenticate against my OpenLdap server.
All my users are under an ou=people folder. They all use uid as the username.
I can get OpenFire to test against the ldap server OK in step 1. Step 2 works of it bringing up users. I don’t care about groups, but Step 3 does work also.
When I go to add an admin user, I keep getting wrong password errors.
My openLDAP server is a SLES 9 box that we have Samba authenticating against as our PDC.
Can anyone help me with this?
