Hi Ignite Community,

I was just wondering if Federation of the MUC service is supported?

So would I be able to have users from one domain see presence and invite users from another domain into a conference?

Sorry I realised I never replied here.

That seemed to work - Thank you very much.

Another option stemming from DNS Entries idea is to just to add to the /etc/hosts file.

e.g. Adding;

conference.openfire.domain xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

where the “xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx” is the openfire’s ip address.
