I can only run openfire when I’m logged on to the server. I have to disconnect rather that logoff to keep it running Is ther any way to keep it running even when no one is logged on? Perhaps run as a service?

yep, just get to the bin folder (probably under c:\program files\openfire\ if you accepted the defaults) with a command prompt and run “openfire-service.exe /install” (make sure to have stopped the Openfire server if you had it running in your login). Now go to services and start it or run a net start …
