When the latest IM Gateway update came out, I noticed some weird behavior with the way Openfire notified us of the update. First off, we have two users set up as admins for Openfire, myself and one other person. When I first did the install of Openfire, I used the install wizard to include myself as an admin, and then later on I added the second person by editing the appropriate file. Now what happened when the plug-in update came out, the second person I added started receiving broadcast IMs every minute telling him of the update. I however got none. How can I fix it so that we both get notified, and so that it doesn’t send the message repeatedly?
