Openfire With external Domain

Hello Everyone,

Let me thanks everyone in advance for providing.

We are using Openfire 3.7.0 as corporate IM Server. We need to configure Openfire with the external domain directly i,e, our domain caht.example.com to external domain i.e. gmail.com, live.com, yahoo.com. ect. Where any user can directly add user from the following domains, to their corporate account and communicate it with each other as the Cisco WebX does and not the way kraken plugging does by mapping the external account with corporate account.

Kindly let me know if there is any such plugging orsetting is available.

Hi

there are three options:

Web chat to you customers via Fastpath
Connection via public chat network via Kraken
An external Openfire server in a DMZ. This works via S2S as described here http://community.igniterealtime.org/docs/DOC-1030

What do you want to achieve? Do you want to provide access to your sales or Support department (use Fastpath). Do you want to allow one on one between your customers and your company? Then ICQ,MSN, Google Chat via Kraken is an option. Or you will be a provider of chat accounts, then you have to go to S2S.
