I’'ve installed a new server with openfire 3.3.1. The software was installed but using web administration openfireHome error is shown.
I’'ve been reading in forums about this error and there is no clear response.
What can I do?

The problem appears if you run openfire as a user besides daemon as the RPM upgrade chown’'d my openfire dir to be owned by the daemon user. Just chown the directory back to the proper user and restart openfire. Fixed it for me.
