Dear Spark Team,
I recently added myself as a contact, and since then, my own avatar appears for every contact, preventing me from seeing their profile pictures. The only workaround I found was removing my own profile picture, but this isn’t ideal.
I can’t remove myself from the contact list either. Is there a better solution to fix this issue?

Hi Laurens! I’m not sure if I understand what you’re trying to explain. You have set your own avatar, but now your picture shows as if it’s the avatar of each of your contacts? You also appear as a contact on your own contact list?
Can you clarify things please, maybe with screenshots? I assume you’re using the latest version of Spark?
There was a bug in the Spark that was fixed recently. Please test with the nightly build Ignite Realtime: Spark Nightly Builds
If you are on Windows download the Spark-with-jre-amd64.exe.
In a few weeks a new release will be ready.
