Hi,

Is there any way to set the how long a message is going to be stored by a XMPP server?

If I send a message to John@jivesoftware.com, how long is this message going to be stored by the jivesoftware.com server? cAn I control that somehow? I am interested in both server anc lient solutions.

the server solution for controlling the time a message is stored by a server is by using AMP, which is a JEP currently not supported by messenger.
