Currently evaluating Openfire 3.4.1 Enterprise as a replacment to Wiredred’s ePop software. A feature that I can’t seem to find a workaround for is the ability to copy an image to the clipboard, then paste it into a chat window in ePop. Is there either:
a) current functionality for this? (through a current sparkplug or built-in functionality that I’m missing)
b) plans for this functionality in the future?
Hey Predated,
The ability to paste an image relies on the client and not the server. The Spark client will let you do what you need. You can do something like
Ctrl-Alt-Print screen (to get a screenshot of the current window)
Ctrl-V in the chat window of Spark
The image will be sent to the other client. The image is actually sent as a regular file transfer

I tried it again today, since I’m doing testing and documentation for spark for work, and it’s working just fine. Not real sure why it wasn’t working previously.
