Hello,

How much the embedded database affects load of system (linux)? I’'m considering installing Openfire Enterprise, but i have to research do i need to have external database for better performance with a lot of clients(up to 50k concurrent) with rosters about 50-100 positions long.

We do not recommend using the embedded database in a production environment. We recommend you install an external database and set up standard backup procedures around that database.
