I updated my Openfire server from version 4.8.x to 4.9.0. The ‘Monitoring Service’ plugin was installed, but after the update, the plugin menu where I check saved conversations didn’t appear. I then removed the plugin and reinstalled it, but after installation, where the plugins are listed, it shows the message: ‘An exception occurred while loading plugin. Review the logs for additional details…’ I haven’t restarted the server yet. Is there a known solution? How can I resolve this?
You appear to be using version 2.5.0 of the plugin. This problem should disappear when you upgrade to the latest version of the plugin.

I found the newest version. I was checking the available plugins page directly through the Openfire administration console. I went to the igniterealtime.org website and found version 2.6. Thank you very much for the help @guus
You’re welcome! Openfire should download a new list of available plugins (and versions) every two days, I think. It’s weird that your instance did not do that. This may warrant a bit of an investigation. Is your Openfire instance disconnected from the internet maybe?
