Plugin MOTD not working on Spark 2.9.X and 3.0.X (message of the day)

I have problems with the MOTD plugin. This plugin doesn’t work on spark clients, version 2.9.X and I was testing now, it doesn’t work with spark 3.0.X either. The plugin is correctly installed in openfire and is enabled in the MOTD menu. My Openfire version is 4.5.2. The motd simply doesn’t show up in any popup windows in Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11.

I believe there is a reported bug, SPARK-2218, but it doesn’t seem to have been resolved in recent versions of Spark

The MOTD Plugin didn’t really work in Spark 2.9.X, but since Spark 3.0.0 it does.
Are you sure you enabled this plugin? Also, the message must not be empty.

Thanks, I already try with spark 3.0.0, but it doesnt appear anymessage. Im gonna try to unistall and reinstall the plugin. Im using a 4.5.2 version of openfire,is this could be a problem?

This may be the source of the problem. I remember that Spark 3.0.X has a problem connecting to Openfire 4.6.0 and below. I advise you to update Openfire to the current version
