Plugin web-custom.xml servlet init parameters allowed?

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has had any luck setting context parameters or init parameters in the web-custom.xml file of plugins that you have written?

Is this even possible?

I cant seem to get them to work.

I was looking at the gateway plugin and web-custom.xml did contain some servlet init parameters although I cannot see a call to these in the servlet code. I guess these would not function as a standard web.xml would?
