I’ve been flirting with building out a new plugin that would allow me purge sessions by:

  • Group
  • JID
  • All Session

This would mostly be used for clustering purposes to help purge Coherence sessions to allow a clean slate for testing. However, this can be used within a clustered or non-clustered environment.

Would this be helpful to the community or maybe there is something like this already out there that I cannot seem to find?

The overall goal is to purge session along with any and all artifacts associated to the sessions.

I’m not sure, but maybe this can be helpful for those suffering memory problems? Purging sessions instead of restarting the server.

Possibly.

I am thinking of something that allows a clean fresh start however that would allow a clean startup when working within a clustered environment. Something that would keep Coherence from migrating sessions.
