Problem with a "Phantom User"

All,

The user is indeed a member of the authentication group, and is a member of the group that is defined with in ldap groups for the client. But never shows up. In the group “options” the user does not show up, but is indeed a member of the group from Active directory’s point of view. The User options of that user does indeed show that he is a member of the group. Am I missing something here??

I am using AD/LDAP for vcards, auth and groups. Openfire 3.4.0 on Windows 2003 server.

Here are the entries from a cleared log, then I tried to view the group within the admin tool, I dont know if its related:

I have since upgraded to version 3.4.1 and the problem still exists… here is the output from both the debug and error logs, I tried to capture the event, I dont know if I have. I noticed, pulling the group membership from inside the “group options” does not generate an error… but the name just isnt there. I also dont notice any error generated when the user logs on. I do notice this however, under the user options roster, all the entries have a subscription set to “to”
