I’m running Openfire 3.6.4 on CentOS 5 x86_64. Originally I installed the server to use a local database, but I reconfigured it to use active directory a few weeks ago. I have all of my users in an AD universal distribution group, and have group contact sharing enabled for that group in Openfire. It works fine until I add a new user in AD. When I add the new user, he doesn’t show up in anyone’s contact list until I restart the Openfire server. Is there a workaround or fix for this other than restarting the server?
