Process starts then closes immediately

i am running spark on server 2003 and has worked great for over a year now.

i recently started to push new group policys restricting users rights to change things like desktop icons, backgrounds start menus, ect.

after i pushed the new group policy Sparks process starts teh closes immediately.

what group policy could affect spark in this way? i can run it as a admin under a power user account and it opens fine. non admins can’t open it.

here is the group policys i have enabled.

I suggest adding these policies one at a time and then checking every time how this affects Spark.

my guess is the folder redirection. Spark has had problems with GPO force folder redirection in the past.

really cause i don’t see how folder redirection would even involve spark…

i wish i could remove it, but boss’s orders to make a standardized desktop. folder redirection was the easiest way.

i have done that with a lot of them, but i really don’t see how any of them could even involve this program. no other programs have this problem…
