Question about a one-to-many chat

Hello,

I have a question about what I understand to be groups.

I want to start a chat between myself (one) and many (as identified in a group).

Is this possible to do something like this?

I could do a group conference, but I want to keep chats segregated.

Not sure if this comes across clearly.

Hi,

there is no “one-to-many chat”. You could send the same message to a group within your roster. Your client will then start p2p chats with every user in this group. It may become very hard to reply to 5 users at the same time, so you may prefer a MUC.
