Question Mark beside domain name?

I recently changed from a VPN based domain to a public domain and now the server property has a warning sign beside it? no indication of error or resolve.

Any ideas?

(ie changed server from

privateim.vpn

to

publicdomain.com

Your SSL-Certificate uses the old domainname and will be treated as invaild form clients that check this (e.g. Psi). You should create a new SSL-Certificate.

Coolcat

I never created the certificates initially, I assume the install did it. Should I reinstall or figure out openssl?

odd - I must have clicked something wrong the first time through. It was as if it was passing the request for third party certificate creation. second time through it self signed without issue.

I think it would be enough to delete the key in adminconsole. Then openfire will ask to create a new one.

(better backup your keystore/truststore files beforeā€¦)
