Random disconnects with gloox-based client

Hi,

We’re developing a client based on gloox, and have noticed that when we do large operations, OpenFire 3.6.4 will start sending unencrypted responses back to us, and shortly thereafter will disconnect.

As an example of the kinds of operations that seem to trigger this:

  • adding ~ 100 items to a roster, with subscription

  • deleting ~ 100 items from a roster

I’ve attached a WireShark trace illustrating this. See in packet 100 we start getting unencrypted data from the server.

Is this a known issue? Any work-arounds we can try?
