My clients are experiencing random disconnects from Openfire 3.3.3 and Spark 2.5.7 (I’m experiencing them myself). I’ll be chatting with someone,then all of a sudden I get “Your ceonnection was closed due to an error”, my roster goes away & says “reconnecting in…” then I reconnect.
Now, I also recently virtualized my Openfire server and separated the MySQL database as well. Could those have anny affect on it?
Sudden disconnect has happened to my coworker yesterday (Spark 2.5.7, Openfire 3.3.3). But personally i havent seen such. Few months ago i had an issue when my Spark was reconnecting in a loop, thoguh Exodus was working fine. Server restart solved this.
I’m not sure if it is related or not, but a new problem is manifesting.
Same software: 2.5.7 Spark, 3.3.3 Openfire
If I try to send a file, it gets about 32k in and my Spark client crashes.
After lunch, I think I’m going to downgrade the server to 3.3.2 and see if that stables it out. If it doesn’t, I think I’ll bring the server back up to 3.3.3 and downgrade Spark to see if that will stable things out.
Is anyone else seeing anything like this?
