Restricting proxied file transfers

Hi,

Is it possible to restrict the usage of the built-in file transfer proxy (e.g. only allow the proxy to be used by JIDs in the domain of the server) ?

Hi,

Wildfire does not yet support access control lists so there is no way to do this currently.

In my opinion ACL’'s are more than a nice-to-have feature but so far little or nothing was done.

Well, I don’'t really need full blown ACLs, just restricting the usage of the FT proxy (which can cost you quite some bandwidth) for internal JIDs only.

Hey Remko,

This currently isn’'t available. Though right now by default the socket setup for the file transfer needs to go through your server so therefore at least one user will need to be using your server.
