Running connection manager on same openfire server

Hello Guys,

Is it possible to run connection manager module on the same openfire server. I tried changing the listening port of connection manager to be different from openfire but i cant see it connected. I dont see any error when starting up connection manager only when i try to login via connection manager:

2007.04.25 11:07:23

org.jivesoftware.multiplexer.net.ConnectionHandler.messageReceived(ConnectionHan dler.java:131)

Closing connection due to error while processing message: <stream:stream

to=“jabber.example.com” xmlns=“jabber:client”

xmlns:stream=“http://etherx.jabber.org/streams” version=“1.0”>

java.lang.NullPointerException

Thanks.

Yes it is possible, although I don’‘t think you’'ll see any kind of performance benefit doing this.

Would you post the log files? Specifically the information behind the NullPointerException you are seeing.
