Same user login to openfire with multiple clients

Hi, All,

I use the spark client to connect to openfire server in my workplace, what I found is that if I login through spark client in one computer, then I try to login through spark client in another computer. the connection in previous computer will get disconnected.

Does anybody know if openfire server can’t have multiple connections with the same user, or spark itself sets this limitation?

Check out the resource field on the “advanced” settings. Make them different say set one to “work” and one to “home”, it should work then. This is how xmpp does same users from multiple connections.
