“Send Test Email” in the Openfire 3.6.3 admin console consistently triggers a NullPointerException. The server continues to run, and otherwise seems to be working OK. I’ve enabled mail debugging, but the “debug.log” file is empty, and nothing relevant appears in any of the other log files.
SMTP settings are as follows:
Mail Host: localhost
Sever Port: 25
Mail Debugging: On
Use SSL: No
There is a Postfix SMTP server listening on localhost port 25.
