Is it already possible to send files with the Smack Library?
Or else does anyone have some documentation about this feature?

No, we don’‘t currently support any of the file transfer protocols. This is mainly because the protocols for doing file transfer are in major flux at the moment and it’‘s not clear which ones will become dominant. As soon as a dominant standard does emerge, we’'ll support it via a Smack extension.
