I have some hard times installing Openfire with AD integration.
For starters, the “test settings” button does NOT work. It simply doesnt do anything.
If you get to the last part where you input a username for admin permissions but happen to have wrongly ryped your domain earlier - you must restart the installation as once the installation is done you’ll get 404 error trying to access the web interface (something with DB doesnt exist).
I somehow managed to install everything properly and even had some users connecting successfully using pidgin. Sadly after changing ldap.nameField to CN and restarting the program, it locked me and everyone else out.
Could I possibly be doing anything wrong?
