All,
Apologies if this has been covered in the past, I looked briefly but was unable to find anything on the subject.
I have an Openfire server (3.9.3) running under Debian on an old Sunblade 2000 that is configured pretty much exactly how I want it. I have been tasked with moving the server over to an Intel box, uname output for both-
Linux gracie 3.2.0-4-sparc64-smp #1 SMP Debian 3.2.60-1+deb7u3 sparc64 GNU/Linux
Linux george 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.63-2+deb7u2 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Using HSQL DB and local user setup (no LDAP)
Rather than start setting George (amd) up from scratch, I would like to perform a barebones Openfire installation on him and move all the config files & DB’s over from Gracie over onto him.
My first attempt in doing so failed completely- no server settings or users transferred, and the test user that I created on George prior to moving files over was still there. Is there a list of all the configuration files required to make this happen? I hesitate to just move everything over willy-nilly due to the arch differences.
Thanks in advance!
/p
