Server-side logging

Hello all

Apologies for asking an obvious question, but does the default Wildfire installation log messages? I need to guarantee to my boss that no messages are being logged server-side.

Hi Tom,

Wildfire does not log messages unless you enable this. You can review the audit log settings and if you are using the enterprise plugin also it.

Check also the Group Chat / History Settings if you want to make sure that nothing is logged as Wildfire keeps the last 25 chat lines in memory or in the database (not sure about).

Thanks for the info. Is the group chat history, if enabled, deleted when the room is destroyed?
