it says in documentation to do “messenger-service /start” from a console, but I get following error: “’‘messenger-service’’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.” (and I did do in c\program files\jive messenger). thank you.
try “messenger-service.exe /start”
I dont really recall how to play with that, as i’‘m using linux startup daemon at work and built-in Launcher on Windows at home. Do you really need to act as service, have you installed it as service. I think “messenger-service.exe /install” should work. BTW, you can start/stop/restart JM service in services.msc. Start > Run > type “services.msc” - hit Enter. It’'s more convinient
