I am currently testing openfire in our AD structure, I have managed to set the admin dn and base dn but when it come to the group setup I dont understand what I need to input, can someone tell me where I am going wrong

your AD groups must be contained with in your BaseDN. You should not need to change the default settings for groups if they are. They will all show up. You would only need to alter the settings to filter out results if needed.
