By “sometimes the messages can’t be cleared” you probably mean this issue SPARK-1562
Spark history can’t be managed in Openfire. There is also no shortcut. You can go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Spark\user\username@jservername\transcripts\ and manually delete transcripts with particular people.
so, i should change spark language from english to another language? or delte the messages from
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Spark\user\username@jservername\transcripts
According to the ticket description you only have to change language to some other and then back to English once and it should fix the history not deleting bug, for a time being probably, not permanently.
