Site Upgrade on Wednesday between 4-5pm Pacific time

We will be upgrading Ignite Realtime to Clearspace X 1.5 between 4pm and 5pm Pacific time on Wednesday (Aug 29). We just upgraded the Jivespace community, and it went really well. If everything goes as well with Ignite, you probably won’t notice any downtown (just enough time to restart everything). If we run into any problems, we’ll do everything we can to get it back up quickly.

You can learn more about the new features available in Clearspace 1.5 on our blog.

OK, Ignite is now running on Clearspace 1.5. Everything looks OK so far, but please let me know if you run into any issues or see anything behaving strangely.

http://www.igniterealtime.org/community/people?start=10&view=online&prefix= is still empty, so it looks like this bug is not fixed in CS(X) 1.5

LG, I need a little more infomation. Where is this link coming from and what do you expect to see there?

The list of people online is:

http://www.igniterealtime.org/community/people?view=online

Or are you trying to get something different?

Oh wait, page 2 (that’s what you are looking at & it is empty). I’m looking into it.

Right, and I guess that it’s a magic wonder that always exactly ten (or less users) are online while sometimes (when the forum is quite active) one can also display page 3 which is also empty.

Sometimes I find myself in the user list and sometimes I’m missing.

We’ve fixed it in a future release of Clearspace, and Will (Jive support guru) has promised to wrap it up in a patch for us in the next couple of days.

Oh Dawn, please wait wait wait wait… I hope I’m not too late to ask you to ask Will to also check on my Clearspace problem that relates to this missing people entry. My problem is: first there’s only one user (me) and I can see myself in the list, then when the second person logins I can see him, but I’m not listed.

Dawn, I wonder why I’m seeing more bugs in Clearspace than others. You could see me reporting them more than others in Jivespace (nobody have actually responded) and Support. I wonder if it’s my system, installation or what… or perhaps some voodoo work

A better place to post it (especially if it is an issue with your installation) is in the support forums. http://www.jivesoftware.com/support/index.jsp

Will and the rest of the support team monitor those closely.

With that said, I will point Will to this thread for now.

Thank you much!

OK, we’ve installed the patch, but on a Friday evening at 4:15, there aren’t enough people online to test whether or not the patch fixed our issues. Keep an eye on it, and let me know if you see any additional issues.

Even page three showing the 21st online user works fine, so I guess that one would like to tap the responsible developer on the shoulder, say to him “well done” give him another coffee pot and walk away without telling what he did so well.
