Smack client with JM running on Tomcat

Hi All,

I’‘ve deployed JM on Tomcat as a .war, and I wanted to know if it’'s possible to use a client (in a java applet) based on Smack API with JM used like that…

I’‘ve tried with JM running standalone, and it seems to work, but I’'d like to have few precisions about the the case of JM running on a web server…;

Hi Alex,

Running a Smack based client and Messenger in the same instance of Tomcat should not be a problem. If you run into any specific issues just post back to these forums.
