Smack connection limitation?

Hi,

I’m running a script that uses the smack api to connect to an XMPP server. I’m attempting to log 20 people in simultaneously. However, I always always get only 8 people to sign in of those 20. Is smack limiting me in some way. Do I have to throttle my connections? Is there anything in the smack api that would cause this behavior?
