Kotlin multiplatform is taking cross development by storm and is growing rapidly. IOS does not have any solid XMPP client that’s well maintained like smack.
Is it not a time for smack to go android so that it can go multiplatform?
I know this is a huge task, but it doesn’t have to happen in a day and can start small with core feature and migrate with time.
I looked for tools that can help with conversion, didn’t find any. AI agents can be helpful here but human guiding hand is necessary.
Is it of interest to move smack to KMP?
