Hello, anyone has ever used Spark IM with Smoothwall Express 3.0 firewall enabled? I’ve recently installed the firewall, but Spark IM is not longer being able to connect to any remote server, and I believe the error comes from the firewall which is blocing access.
Is your firewall logging any dropped packets/connections? You are perhaps better off asking on a Smoothwall support forum, since it sounds like it’s a FW issue rather than Spark.
thx, was told from their community that it has a SSL Man-in-the-middle option which had to be unchecked in the IM Proxy settings, and now spark is ok
