SMTP/POP3 Transport

Has anyone seen / tested /run any smtp/pop3 transport agent?

I am trying to make jmc-0.2.3 work as an external service and I have reached to a point where I can see it as a service and register an account but I am getting some errors when it tries to fetch some email.

Are there any other solutions for SMTP/POP3/IMAP transport agent?

I think there was a thread about this on the Openfire support forum. I won’‘t be including this support in the IM Gateway plugin as it’'s a different kind of animal. But I could see it evolving as a different plugin. =)
