Some getting started questions

HI!

i am new to wildfire , actually want to build a layer in wildfire which can communicate with other Im’'s like MSn,yahoo,AIM e.t.c

i have few questions to get started

q1) is their any good programmer guide which can guide us to understand the architecture fo wildfire how to create our own plugins etc.

note : i wont mind bying that book either.

q2) as for as i understood i need to implement my own plugin for that purpose but have no idea how to do that any articals,books or any other sources will be quite helpfull for that.

q3) Architechture i have made for my application will be like

connect to

mobile client -

>wildfire server----

>MSN Server,Yahoo Server etc

–> Layer will be defined in wildfire for translating Jabber messages to MSP,YMSG etc and vice versa,using open source sdks like msnp,jymsg etc

this layer should be a plugin in wildfire.

Am i right in doing so ?

Please tell me about all those usefull links,articals and books which you think can help me in this regard.

You can use the IM Gateway community(http://www.jivesoftware.org/community/forum.jspa?forumID=59) for the same.

and this thread can help you to provide the source code for the IM gateways.
