Spark 1.1.1 & OS X 10.4.4

I’‘ve installed Spark 1.1.1 on an OS X 10.4.4 machine and when I fire it up, it looks like the above link… I obviously can’'t log in with half the gui missing Is this a known issue, is there a way to fix it, or is this just bad luck?

I do have Spark 1.1.1 running fine on an OS X 10.3.9 machine though.

How about this… can anyone confirm a 100% working Spark install on OS X 10.4.4?

Hi,

Spark 1.1.1 works fine for me on Mac OS X 10.4.5 (G5 powermac). I’'m assuming you use software update to keep current (so you have the latest 1.4x jdk)

$ java -version

java version “1.4.2_09”

Java™ 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_09-232)

Java HotSpot™ Client VM (build 1.4.2-54, mixed mode)

Are you using an intel mac?

We have 3 machines with minor glitches running on 10.4.5 on two Dual G5’'s and a G4 Powerbook. We occasionally have to stop and start the software, especially when rebooting, or the initial startup. But is pretty good, especially for free

I am running 10.4.5 now, but Spark worked fine while I was still using 10.4.4–at least, it didn’'t have that issue.

Updated versions of Spark fixed this.
