Spark 2.4.1 issue with selecting paks of emoticons

I noticed that my new install of spark 2.4.1 will not display the Appeareance tab if i incorrectly choose another emoticon pak.

How do you select an incorrect emoticon pack?

browse for something, instead of zip select all files, then choose something incorrect.
