Spark 2.6.3 doesnt display menu on Mac 10.6.8

I downloaded Spark_2_6_3.dmg for Mac. I login in to Spark client successfully. But the menu options do not display at all.

Here’s the system details: /user/bin/sw_vers

ProductName: Mac OS X

ProductVersion: 10.6.8

BuildVersion: 10K549

Here is the JRE details: java -d32 -version

java version “1.6.0.26”

Java™ SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_26-b03-384-10M3425)

Java Hotspot™ Client VM (build 20.1-b02-384, mixed mode)

Why is it not working? I’ve also downloaded the Spark source code and then tried to execute the client. The results are the same!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I got it. The question now seems really silly as I’m new to MAC . I’m posting the answer so that other’s don’t look stupid.

The Spark Menu goes into the Apple Menu on the top of the screen. It was always staring at me but i couldn’t see it as am used to Windows OS.

Is there a way to disable that and view the menu within the client window?
