we currently have spark 2.6.3 installed in a windows xp 32 bit environment. as most know, windows xp support will go away in april 2014, so we are just wondering if there are any issues with installing spark in a windows 7 64 bit environment? Thanks.
none at all. beauty of Java, if there’s a JVM that will run on the OS/platform – then Java code will run

As mentioned it should run ok (use myself on Win7 64-bit), though occasionally some users have some issues, most probably due to some other software installed. You should of course do testing on Win7 machine with all your usual software installed.
