Spark 2.9.0 Plugins Reversi and TicTacToe don't work

Hi
I installed the latest build of Spark 2.9.0 snapshot on two test computers.
And from the user testuser2 invited testuser to the game, but testuser did not receive any invitation.
Reversi and TicTacToe plugins don’t work.
Maybe turn them off so that they are not active when installing Spark 2.9.0, or delete?

I have created https://issues.igniterealtime.org/browse/SPARK-2138
Maybe @guus can look into this.

I’ve provided fixes to make the games compatible again with the latest version of Smack. See https://github.com/igniterealtime/Spark/pull/501

I did notice a new (still unfixed) problem with Reversi: https://issues.igniterealtime.org/browse/SPARK-2139

Ilya, you can test now https://bamboo.igniterealtime.org/browse/SPARK-NIGHTLY-1414/artifact/shared/Install4j-generated-media/

Cool! The games are now working.
But the Reversi game cannot be closed, it appears in the chat window and if you not need a game, then you need to close the dialog box.
But I think this should be addressed to the creator of the plugin.
I understand, Spark 2.9.0 will be released soon?

Yeah, I’m not going to mess with the game logic, or how it is integrated in the client on short notice.

Can you successfully finish a game of Reversi? I tried once, but ran into issues about half way.

There are no specific plans to release Spark 2.9.0, but I think that this week, we’ve resolved all issues that were blocking a release. We might as well perform one.

I tried to play it, and after my move, which is marked in red, the game freezes and I cannot go anywhere.

Both clients have nothing in the Spark logs.

I will try to install Spark 2.9.0 a few people to gather information.

Yeah, someone suddenly got interested in Spark  Well, i kind of lost hope and i don’t use Spark to be involved that much or have testing/production environment. But i guess we can do a release. Just for fun, to get a storm in the forums  I plan to have vacations in two weeks. As i’m not going to travel or anything, will have some spare time to look over forums and issues after the release. So…

We have a few PRs on GitHub and if you check Version Detail - Ignite Realtime Jira - 25 Issues to do. Nothing critical, other than new blocker and many can probably be moved to 2.9.1 or such. But maybe something can still be addressed.
