Spark Active Directory invalid username / password

I have configured openfire to use Active Directory. It works fine. However my Spark clients doesn’t matter what version 2.7 or 2.6 will randomly say “Invalid username / password”. The password is saved, I can try to login in again and it will work. 3/5 or so times the authentication fails with Spark. If I use pidgeon it works every time. No issues.

Any ideas?

Environment
Java Version:
1.7.0_76 Oracle Corporation – Java HotSpot™ Server VM
Appserver:
jetty/9.2.z-SNAPSHOT
Host Name:
ip-10-152-44-220.ec2.internal
OS / Hardware:
Linux / i386

EDIT:

So I created a test account with an easier password. When I use my new account I can log in every time QUICKLY. It doesn’t “freeze” the client.

I’ve tried deleting the Spark folder in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Spark

I’ve tried reinstalling… Same issue. How do I clear the settings out for spark?

Deleting that folder is enough to wipe the settings.

I was able to get the logins working by clearing the cache of all the items under server > server manager > cache summary
